Adah Runyan-Randruut
Adah Runyan-Randruut is originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. She began her early athletic pursuits as a competitive gymnast, receiving awards in national competitions. At the age of 15, Ms. Randruut decided to pursue her love of dance and turn her focus to ballet. Ms. Randruut studied at Hinsdale Dance Academy where she received merit scholarships. Her training continued at The Chicago School of Ballet performing lead roles including Swanhilda in Coppelia. She attended summer intensive programs at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Nashville Ballet, Ballet 5:8, and Tulsa Ballet. Following Nashville Ballet’s summer intensive, she was invited to return to join the Professional Training Division where she trained for two seasons and performed in Nashville Ballet's The Nutcracker. She joined the Studio Training Company at Texas Ballet Theater in 2021 where she performed works by several choreographers including Ben Stevenson. Ms. Randruut joined Ballet Frontier in 2022 and has performed roles in Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Carmen, The Nutcracker, and Chung-Lin Tseng's Variations on a Rococo Theme. This is Ms. Randruut's second season with Ballet Frontier.
