Andre Kaltenrieder
In 1977 Mr. Kaltenrieder started his dance career training with Christina Pora Classical Ballet school in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada where he developed a strong base for technique and a great love of the art.
His family moved and he went on to train with other schools until he had the foundation to begin his professional career as a performing artist.
Mr. Kaltenrieder joined International Ballet Rotaru in 1989 and was featured in such ballets as Pavel Rotaru's Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake.
In 1993 Mr. Kaltenrieder joined Ballet Dallas. He performed under the direction of Thom Clower and performed works by George Skibine, Tom Clouser, Peter Anastos, Fernando Bujones and others.
In 1996, Mr. Kaltenrieder joined Tulsa Ballet Theatre directed by Marcello Angellini where he was introduced to a wide variety of styles from Robert North's Troy Game and Marcello Angellini's Romeo and Juliet to Andre Prokovski's Anna Karenina and others.
In 1999 Mr. Kaltenrieder joined Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, now known as Texas Ballet Theatre. There he performed works by George Ballanchine, Stanton Welch, Bruce Marks, Bruce Simpson and Ben Stevenson. Mr. Kaltenrieder flourished with Texas Ballet Theatre artistically and was featured in many Soloist, Principal and Character roles.
In 2006 Mr. Kaltenrieder retired from the stage.
Mr. Kaltenrieder became the Administrator for the Texas Ballet Theatre School in Dallas, Texas until 2008.
Mr. Kaltenrieder transitioned from the performing arts world with help from the great non-profit group Career Transition for Dancers. He followed his desire for engineering and aesthetic design and was introduced to the world of Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
With the self-discipline skills he learned during his Ballet training, he was a quick study in this field and flew through the ranks to become a Manager of a leading edge Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning company based out of Southlake, Texas.
Mr. Kaltenrieder still lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife Corrina Peterson Kaltenrieder - former Ballerina and his Son Vincent. He is currently performing as a guest artist with Ballet Frontier of Texas.
