Bennett Ross
Bennett Ross was born and raised in Hingham, Massachusetts and began her dance training at the age of 8 where she attended International Ballet Academy of Norwell under the direction of Cosmin and Melinda Marculetiu. At the age of 13, she decided to continue her training at Koltun Ballet Boston with Alexandra Koltun and Alex Lapshin. In her time at Koltun Ballet Boston, Bennett received senior classical category awards at the Youth American Grand Prix and Universal Ballet Competition Semi-Final in Boston. She has performed in numerous roles in many classical ballets, including the Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Raymonda and Paquita. She has also studied modern and contemporary ballet and performed original pieces by Alex Lapshin, Lesley Telford, Paulo Arrais, and London Mills, in solo and ensemble pieces. This is Bennett’s first season at Ballet Frontier where she will be a trainee.
