Michele Prudente
Michele Prudente received a diploma in 2009 from the Teatro Nuovo Torino Academy, which formed dancers such as Federico Bonelli (Principal at the Royal Ballet of London and Artistic Director of the
Northern Ballet). He trained with renowned international dancers and teachers like Njurka De Saa (from the Ballet Nacional de Cuba), Angelo Murdocco, Simona Tartaglione (Béjart Ballet), Federico Bonelli (Royal Ballet), Hikaru Kobayashi (RB), Eric Dufrier, Marie Claude Rous (Opera Royale des Flandres).
He was admitted to the Ecole Atelier Rudra Béjart in 2014.
Michele worked as a Professional Dancer in Italy, France and Germany. In Germany he worked for the Company "Ballet Krefeld-Monchengladbach" (season 2017-2018) directed by the
American Choreographer Robert North (renowned for choreographing works for the Ballet Rambert, the English National Ballet and the Batsheva Dance Company).
Back in Italy, he worked for the A. Cava Jazz Ballet (2015-2017, 2018-2019).
Michele has also danced as an invited Principal Guest Dancer in France, Italy, and Russia (Moscow), where her performed main roles from the classical ballet repertory. In particular, his main repertory includes Cavalier (The Nutcracker), Ali (Le Corsaire), Acteon (Diana and Acteon), Desiré (Sleeping Beauty), Albrecht (Giselle) among the others.
Michele joined the Madison Ballet for two seasons (2022-23/2023-24) as a Company Member, where he performed works of the company director Ja’Malik, such as “Recomposed”, "Hallelujah Junction" and "Agape"; Stephanie Martinez (“Something to remember you by”), and worked with renowned names of the ballet such as Andrea Long Naidu, who restaged Paquita for the Madison Ballet in 2023 (in which Michele was casted as a lead role).
He also danced various roles for the production “The Nutcracker”: Soldier Doll, Spanish Soloist, Cavalier, Snow King.
He performed as Albrecht for the new Ja’Malik’s restaging of Giselle for the last shows of the season 2023-2024 of the Madison Ballet.
Michele also worked as a dancer in National TV shows and series (such as "Non uccidere"), TV programs (such as “Gran Concerto” with Raffaella Carrà), and in a TV commercial for the worldwide renowned International brand "Club Med".
He has been invited as a special guest teacher in international events like Danzainfiera 2020 and to choreograph and dance on video-mapping for Italia’s Got Talent 2022 (in the latter, Michele created
both the choreography and the video mapping which was projected on the screen). This is Michele's first season with Ballet Frontier.
