Jody Palmer found her passion for dance at the age of five while training at a school outside of Tokyo, Japan. After moving to the United States, she continued her training at Patel Conservatory in Florida under the direction of Philip Neal and Ivonne Lemus. In 2018, she spent two years with Kentucky Ballet Theatre where she won Top 12 in the classical category at YAGP, Indianapolis. During this year, she also had the opportunity to work with one of the Cuban jewels, Aurora Bosch. In 2020 she joined Texas Ballet Theater School where she trained under the direction of Leticia Oliveira and Kathryn Warakomsky-Li. At the age of 17, she was accepted into their Studio Training Company where she had the opportunity to perform in TBT productions such as Ben Stevenson's The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland and Cirque Du Ballet. During the season, she competed at YAGP, Dallas and was awarded Top 24 in the classical category. Jody is excited to join Ballet Frontier as a trainee for the 2023-2024 season.
