Dance Without Borders
Ballet Frontier strives to make the arts accessible to diverse communities across North Texas. Ballet Frontier prioritizes this mission by bringing free ballet classes to Title I Schools and other non-profits in Fort Worth with its program Dance without Borders.

Dance Without Borders classes are currently provided at at W.M. Green Elementary School and Trimble Tech High School. In the past, Dance Without Borders has partnered with Lena Pope Chapel Hill and other not-for-profit organizations. Free one-hour ballet classes are offered twice a week at each school and experienced company dancers of Ballet Frontier teach each class.

A 2019 study done by Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research has shown that children who are introduced to art and arts education have an improved academic performance, increased concentration skills, and developed more compassion for others. Arts education can also provide employment and income opportunities for impoverished groups.
Ballet Frontier partners with Title I schools, which must have at least a 40% enrollment rate of children from families in the low-income bracket. These classes are meant to empower, educate, and bring hope to those who don't have the same opportunities or financial stability as others. Ballet Frontier truly believes that the youth are the future, and by allowing them to experience the performing arts, they can help create a vibrant and inspired community.
