Perry Meadors
Perry Meadors began her training at the age of seven in her hometown of Columbia, South Carolina at Pavlovich Ballet School. She also trained at summer intensives at Kirov Academy of Ballet, Ellison Ballet, Amsterdam International Summer School, and Ballet West. In 2015, she joined Columbia Classical Ballet and had the opportunity to perform in many full-length ballets such as Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, and Sleeping Beauty. During her time at Columbia Classical Ballet, she also danced the roles of Snow Queen and Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker. In 2017, Ms. Meadors joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Graduate program where she had the opportunity to understudy and perform in the company’s productions of Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Divertimento No. 15. She also performed in Western Symphony, Raymonda, and New Works, choreographed by PBT company members, with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's School. In 2019, Ms. Meadors joined Ballet Frontier where she has performed soloist and principal roles inlcuding Giselle in Giselle, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, and Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty. In 2022, Ms. Meadors was named Ballet Frontier's first Principal Dancer. This is Ms. Meador's fifth season with Ballet Frontier.
